2020/21 Clippers Fees
The Clippers programs have been developed to provide all players access to developmentally appropriate training with professional trainers and coaches.
MSC supports teams with the option of a Professionally Coached team where a professional 24/7 UK Soccer Academy coach provides training at practices as well as coaching at each game or the option of a Volunteer Head Coached team where 24/7 UK Soccer Academy provides training at one practice per week, coaching at 2-3 games per season and support and guidance to the volunteer coach.

The fees for these options are provided below. Other team costs presented below are estimates for family planning purposes. These fees will vary by team and will depend on the services and playing options selected by the team. Please attend Team Information Meetings to obtain more information for your specific team.

COVID-19 Details:
These fees are set assuming a normal, full year of soccer (July-May), including practices, camps, and Fall and Spring competitions. Given the uncertainty about the upcoming season, we may adjust our fees downward if ongoing COVID-19 restrictions substantially limit our programming. For example, the season may be delayed, or practices might be allowed while competition might not. Please bear with us as we navigate these uncertain times. We will be working closely with our coaches at 24/7 to provide the best soccer program we can while complying with public health requirements.
Our registration payment will be structured a little differently this year. Usually, families pay 20% of the annual fee when they accept a roster spot and pay the remainder either as an upfront lump sum or in four installments. This year, since we don’t know exactly what soccer will look like when we’re back on the field, we’re reducing the upfront payment and delaying the payment of the balance until later in the summer so that you won’t be paying any more money until we’re back on the field. With that said, our refund policy will continue to apply to all Competitive players who accept a spot on a roster. A player who accepts an invitation to play with the Club commits to play for the entire year. What may change this year is that our program may have to adjust during the year as conditions evolve, and we are building flexibility into our payment plan to allow for that adjustment.
MSC has always offered an installment payment plan. This year, if we adjust our fees to reflect COVID restrictions, we will factor that adjustment into those installment payments. In past seasons, some families have paid their entire annual registration fees in one lump sum. Because of this year’s uncertainty, we are asking all families to sign up for the installment plan, and the first installment would not be until August. We are finalizing the details of the installment plan and will have them available at the time of registration.
When you accept a roster spot for the 2020-21 season, you’ll have 48 hours to register and submit the initial $250 payment towards the overall fee for their child (see timetable below). This initial $250 payment will be non-refundable to cover MSC fixed costs.
Families waiting for Financial Aid requests to be approved will be given additional time to complete the process.

- Team expenses will vary depending on the number and types of tournaments played, additional training and other factors controlled by the team
- Teams may opt to host fundraisers to offset Tournament and Team Fees

Montclair Soccer Club Financial Aid Program
MSC is committed to working with families to be sure every child can enjoy a soccer experience with our club. With this commitment we have developed various levels of programs with the intention that families can find one that best fits their financial abilities and child’s ambitions. We strive to have each of our programs meet or exceed the comparable standards for similar programs found in the Bay Area.
